4711

In 1772, William Muelhens created a formula of a fragrance that he named Eau de Cologne. Later on he established his own perfume factory at Cologne Glockengasse and named it 4711, a number representing the street address of his fragrance factory. The legendary 4711 fragrance is a mixture of orange, rose, lemon, and sandalwood oil. The fragrance is truly a revitalizing tonic. Later, Muelhens launched 4711 Ice, which is a unisex perfume with notes of citrus for outdoor events and similar adventurous voyages. Then in 1988, Carrera cologne was released, catering a blend of citrus, woods and spice. In addition, Muelhens also produces refreshing, unisex scents of Body Talk.
